Copper ore flotation is an efficient mineral processing method, which uses the differences in the physical and chemical properties of the mineral surface to achieve the separation of copper ore from gangue.The following is a detailed introduction to copper ore flotation：
1.Crushing: Large pieces of copper ore are initially crushed by jaw crushers and cone crushers.
2.Grinding: The broken ore is ground by a ball mill to reach a suitable particle size.
3.Grading: The ground mineral products are graded by a spiral classifier to ensure a suitable particle size distribution.
4.Flotation: The graded ore slurry enters the flotation machine and is flotation by adding flotation agents.
5.Concentration: The concentration of copper concentrate after flotation is increased by a thickener.
6.Filtration: The concentrated copper concentrate is dehydrated through a filter to obtain a dry copper concentrate

Principle of flotation
Copper ore flotation is based on the differences in hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity of the mineral surface.By adding flotation agents, such as collectors, foaming agents and adjusting agents, the hydrophobicity of copper ore is enhanced, so that it attaches to the air bubbles and floats to the surface of the slurry to form a foam layer, thereby achieving separation from gangue.
